Lupe and Miguel shout, "Help! Help!"
A man answers their call. He gathers more people to help.
"Someone's coming," a gang member shouts. He rips Robert's sports watch off his wrist. Then the gang runs away.

| Gang members punch Robert. They knock him to the ground. They empty his backpack and tear up his books. They make fun of his science project as they stomp on it and break it to pieces. Through it all, Robert is silent. He never raises a fist. Lupe and Miguel shout, "Help! Help!" A man answers their call. He gathers more people to help. "Someone's coming," a gang member shouts.
